What customers say?

“ My wife and I had our first taste of Persian cuisine at a wonderful dinner at Chef Nasrin's house, where we received unparalleled hospitality. Every dish was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. I'm already curious to try the March menu! ”

“ A unique experience, with surprising flavors and a rich culture. Nasrim, Cláudio, and Maia welcome us with great hospitality, politeness, and friendliness. The food is delicious, as is the conversation! Worth every penny! :) The dishes change every month, and I already want to go back! ”

- Iana Chan -

“ It was a unique experience, the dinner was perfect, the food was flavorful and aromatic, made with great care by Nasrin. The reservation and payment are made in advance, and Nasrin hosts 8 people at her home who sit together. In addition to the excellent dinner, we also had the opportunity to hear Nasrin recite Iranian poetry. ”

- Aline Bini -

“ A delightful experience! The food was perfect, made with great care. The owners sit at the table and share a light and very enriching conversation! I highly recommend it!!!! ”

“ A great option to experience the important Persian/Iranian cuisine. Reservations and advance payment are required. Easy parking. We had a wonderful dinner with a tasting menu featuring 7 flavors: a welcome course, two appetizers, two main courses, and two desserts. We were greeted by the family, and the dishes were presented and stories were told, always accompanied by a lot of culture and friendliness. They don't charge a corkage fee, but you should follow their recommendations on which wines to bring for optimal pairing. Congratulations to Chef Nasrin and his lovely family. ”

- Marcelo Micucci -

“ Typical Persian cuisine menu, reserved (defined and paid for) in advance and served in the chef's dining room (maximum of eight people per night). There are no alcoholic beverage options on the menu (but there is no corkage fee for those who bring their own bottle of wine, for example). An explosion of exotic aromas and flavors. It is possible to inform (in advance) of your preference for a vegetarian menu (or lactose or gluten restrictions). Homey atmosphere and intimate and kind service. Highly recommended! ”

“ One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at in São Paulo. By far a unique gastronomic experience. The food is simple, yet surprising (after all... I had never eaten Persian food before), and as tasty as few things I've ever tasted. In addition to the food, the hosts are incredible, making the experience even more interesting. I felt like I was having dinner at a friend's house, trying different things and discussing everything from movies and literature to trivialities. It was delicious, I can't wait for the next meal there. ”

- Lucas Guimarães -

“ Dinner at Amigo do Rei was an experience beyond any expectation I had. First, because of the fantastic reception from Cadbanou Nasrin and Cláudio Battaglia, their stories, and their generosity in opening their home and sharing their past with us. Second, and just as important, because of the delicious food, overflowing with affection, served to us as if we were already old friends, even though we were only there for 30 minutes. It's something to come back for every month to try the new menu items! ”
